The Women Who Shaped San Antonio | Half-Hour Special

Email share

THURSDAY, MAY 9 AT 7:30PM - San Antonio's history is full of women who created, nurtured, and shaped the city we love. Join KLRN as we celebrate these women and tell their stories.

There was Adina DeZavala's standoff at the long barracks - Artemesia Bowden's efforts that created St. Philips College - Belle Ortiz's mariachi education that spread nationwide - and Joci Straus' renovation that saved the majestic theatre.

These women are all part of the collective fabric that makes San Antonio special. KLRN honors these incredible history makers on "the women who shaped San Antonio".

This series is proudly supported by the Alice Kleberg Reynolds Foundation.
