San Antonio and the surrounding areas have one of the largest military and ex-military populations in the country. More than 40 percent of veterans who transition out of the military from a San Antonio military
installation choose the Alamo city as their permanent home. To better understand veterans and their needs, KLRN recently launched an initiative called VETERANS VOICES that provides conversations, events and
resources for veterans and their families on a local and national level.
