Adrian Ruiz has been playing professional for nearly three decades, and is a San Antonio favorite. He recently moved back to San Antonio and is the director of Jazz Studies at St. Mary's University.
In 2017, Ruiz released an album of completely original material titled “Premier: A Collection of Originals.” The album did well and one of the songs is the theme song for the South Texas Jazz Project.
