SciTech Now goes to The University of The Incarnate Word (UIW) campus to learn about the Solar House, a 768-square-foot state-of-the-art home built from recycled materials. The house is fully self-sufficient and energy efficient.
We meet university staff members who oversaw UIW students who planned and designed the home.
The eco-friendly features of the Solar House may be a preview of our green homes of the future.
