KLRN has received a $30,000 grant from the John L. Santikos Charitable Foundation, a fund of the San Antonio Area Foundation. Mr. Santikos was a devoted friend to KLRN for many years and this gift will prove beneficial in supporting KLRN’s general operating expenses.
John Santikos impacted the lives of many through his support of the arts and KLRN is no exception. Much like John Santikos brought joy to others through the films debuted at his theaters, KLRN enriches the lives of 3 million viewers-both young and old-who can tune-in for inspiring and innovative television programs. With this grant, KLRN can assist in preserving the Santikos legacy throughout 2016 in our community outreach and in the arts programs that Mr. Santikos cherished so much.
