Artist Information
Encouraging messages and slamming beats is the latest release from Saving Jackie the rap rock band born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. Saving Jackie is a female fronted band and has been a fresh breath of hope and inner healing with unshakeable faith. Front woman Jenny 4C Ramirez is Hispanic, short in size, but has a powerful voice and commands positive vibes. Anthony is Jennys brother and drummer. He motivates the band and has exceptional showmanship. John Cortez is a Butcher by day and shreds the bass at night. Rick G. is the lead guitarist and back up vocalist that you can’t get enough of.
Combining influences from rock, metal to hip hop, the four musical veterans have played with the best of what San Antonio, TX has to offer in musicians and rappers. All have been performing for decades and have earned their credibility for songwriting and performing. This band is like Family and it shows. Saving Jackie shares positive messages of how they overcame and continue to overcome all of life’s major trials. Their Album titled, “It’s Critical” is a jaw dropping rocking out message of victory and hope. The song It’s Critical is about Jenny being told she had cancer and how she fought to live and stay focused for herself and her family. My Faith Is Larger is about mental health and how Jenny finds a way through PTSD to Peace and comfort reminding herself that she is loved and made with purpose. Most people say Saving Jackie sounds similar to the very popular band called Rage Against The Machine, but with a non-political message.
