This week On The Record, Host Randy Beamer talks with San Antonio Police Officers Association President Danny Diaz about the long awaited agreement on the contract between the city and the Officer’s Union.  Diaz explains what was agreed upon, and why the new faces at the table made all the difference in finally reaching an agreement.

Next, a report from the group Hill Country Alliance states “the window to save the Texas Hill Country is closing within this generation”.  HCA Manager John Rooney explains why the state, and locals, need to do something now before we lose the streams, hills, and caves of the hill country.

On Reporter’s Roundtable, Chris Tomlinson with the Express-News and Houston Chronicle, shares information from his current column on how plastics in Texas are impacting every one of us, and why recycling plastics may not be working like we think it does.
