Help us celebrate and participate in our 2016 Blazing Gavels Auction taking place LIVE on-air June 8-11 and 15-18 starting at 7PM each evening.
Each year, Blazing Gavels attracts thousands of donors and bidders from across San Antonio and beyond, all to help support KLRN’s educational and children’s programming. All of the items featured in the Auction are generously donated by local and national businesses and organizations. What started as a three-day event 50 years ago has now become one of the most anticipated 8-day long LIVE TV events in our community.
This year is special because we’re celebrating 50 years of KLRN’s Great TV Auction! We’re seeking eight bloggers to help us throughout the nights. If selected as a Blazing Blogger, you have the opportunity to do to the following:
- Help us promote the Blazing Gavels Auction throughout your social media outlets
- On-air interview during the Blazing Gavels Auction
- On the day you’ll be reporting at the Blazing Gavels Auction, we’ll share your social media outlets on our social media outlets

We’ll be selecting and notifying our #BlazingBloggers by Friday, May 27. Also, we’d like to gather all of the #BlazingBloggerBunch for a fun photoshoot in our studio the week of May 31 – June 3.
