"Arbor de la Vida" (Tree of Life) is an art sculpture that will serve as the new portal to the Mission San Francisco de la Espada. Hundreds of San Antonio artists and storytellers are creating the 70 x 40 ft. sculpture filled with numerous branches telling the story of generations of South Texans. The sculpture will be completed in time to celebrate the 300th anniversary of San Antonio in 2018.
