This weekend, San Antonio officially celebrates the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park and the Alamo as the 23rd World Heritage site.
The missions were designated by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization on July 5 at the World Heritage Convention in Bonn, Germany.
The celebration weekend runs from this Friday through Sunday and will include a formal ceremony, music, tours, art exhibits and more.
