The San Antonio International Airport announced that Volaris, a low-cost Mexico-based airline will offer new daily nonstop flights from San Antonio to Mexico City starting Sept. 15.
This new service expands the airline’s presence in San Antonio, which serves as a positive sign of support for the region.
Russ Handy, aviation director for the city, said the new route will benefit San Antonio and help the city move forward in satisfying a high demand for travel to Mexico.
Flights will be offered seven days a week, and tickets are already on sale.
