Officially, today was the busiest mailing and shipping day for the U.S. Postal Service, with a predicted 30 million packages delivered.
Obviously, the next 10 days are expected to be high volume as well.
As a result, the post office says it is delivering seven days a week and is providing real-time delivery notifications.
Hours at the post office have been extended as well.
