New flood-control projects hold up well against heavy rains

Monday’s heavy rain illustrates how well Bexar County’s flood-control projects are working.
 
That’s according to County Public Works Director Renee Green.
 
KSAT 12 News reports the county is in the midst of its 10-year, $500 million Flood Control program to keep runoff from overwhelming roads and property.
 
KSAT reports 33 projects are already completed, 17 are under construction and another 17 are in design.
