The San Antonio Museum of Art is gifting visitors a free admission day on March 14 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. The day will be filled with fun activities for visitors of all ages and food throughout the day!
The activities offered include:
Pattern Palooza: A festival of art activities with painting, drawing, and collage from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Project Bass Bus: An Arts and digital music program for children inviting them to play while learning about digital music.
Guided Tour: A tour of the exhibition Of Country and Culture: The Lam Collection of Contemporary Aboriginal Art beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Sketching in the galleries: Sketch with local artist Terry Ybanez from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Film on the Green: End the day with the outdoor screening of Rabbit-Proof Fence, a 2002 Australian drama film about the Stolen Generation.
The Sketching session and guided tour include a surcharge of $10 for guests 18 years of age or older.
