Event Info

Enjoy time with your family as we explore an array of education stations and enjoy healthy treats while outdoors. We will feature a film preview of Alma’s Way: Trick-or-Treatasaurus as well as several other PBS KIDS programs.

This FREE educational event will feature school readiness activities and family fun. Visit with PBS KIDS character Elinor from the PBS KIDS show Elinor Wonders Why and learn about local FREE family programs.

KLRN’s Education team will share activity ideas with adults to help prepare children for school success, distribute free books and register families for the Bright By Text service. Agencies will share information on free parent and caregiver workshops; many of these workshops provide families with hands-on learning activities, free materials and books.

We'll have more family-friendly fun including fall-themed make-and-take activities, gross motor activities, science exploration, and arts & crafts areas. Entertainment will include a visit by Elinor from the new PBS KIDS Show Elinor Wonders Why and fun games like: oversized Connect 4, oversized Jenga, and more! Alamo City Rods will be in attendance and will have their cars on display.

The KLRN KIDS Fall Festival is presented by KLRN Public Television with support from the United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County HOPES and Dual Generation Program
