Won't You Be Our Neighbor?
Hosted by KLRN, PNC Grow Up Great, and Fred Rogers Productions, Be My Neighbor Day is a FREE event that celebrates what it means to be a caring neighbor.
Children and families will have the opportunity to give back to our community by assembling learning kits for children experiencing homelessness in our community, creating a “Hello, Neighbor” greeting card for our community helpers, and more. There will also be a special appearance by Daniel Tiger!
It's a "grr-ific" way to begin a lifetime of neighborly volunteerism! We can’t wait to see you at the event!

The Be My Neighbor Day Event will take place at Rosedale Park, located at 303 Dartmouth St., San Antonio, TX 78237

EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES:
This event will feature the PNC Mobile Learning Unit along with the organizations above providing fun and engaging activities and information regarding resources their programs provide. In addition, families can help volunteer to put together learning kits to be donated to a local community agency that works with children experiencing homelessness in our community.
Daniel Tiger will appear for meet and greets at 10:30, 11:30 and 12:30 PM.

KLRN is excited to announce that the PNC Mobile Learning Adventure exhibit will be at this year’s Be My Neighbor Day.
The Mobile Learning Adventure (MLA) is a traveling exhibit that provides an opportunity for parents and caregivers to learn about the importance of early childhood education while they engage in fun activities with their children. The MLA is a part of PNC Grow Up Great – a $500 million, multi-year bilingual initiative that began in 2004 to help prepare children from birth to age 5 for success in school and life.
